Project Hearts

Project Hearts is a mission that works with the needy people in the Baitoa area of the Dominican Republic. Their mission is to educate in the areas of physical and emotional health, with the goal for people to gain knowledge and resources to transform their communities. They have a number of programs to help people reach those goals in life. Over the years, houses have been built, water tanks installed, and education offered to much improve the lives of locals in their communities. Freedom Hills has been able to serve alongside Project Hearts by providing teaching at relationship conferences, physical labor, money, and one on one counseling. Our ultimate desire along with Project Hearts, is that together we can bring the light of Jesus to the dark corners of hurting hearts. For more information on Project Hearts contact our office here at Freedom Hills or contact them directly by calling Founder Ruben Ottenalder at 574-209-0178.

 Pain to Purpose

From Pain to Purpose is a ministry whose mission is to walk with hurting people, caring for their hearts, and equipping them with tools to find healing for their hearts and God's purpose for their pain.

The painful events in the Mullett family's lives have begged for answers to their heartfelt question of, "Where is God when life hurts?" Their family has been on a personal journey to find resounding answers and healing truths, and they are excited to assist in sharing God's answers and truths with others and in caring for the hearts of those who are hurting. The Mullett's quest to reach those experiencing pain and loss has birthed their ministry of Pain to Purpose. Duane & Cindy Mullett and their four daughters travel across the US and Canada sharing a message of hope and healing in churches and prisons through song, testimony and teaching.

It has been our privilege at Freedom Hills to walk alongside the Mullet Family in their mission to touch the hearts of hurting people. It has been a blessing to have them sing and share at our fall banquets as well as serving with them as they take their ministry into prisons. For more information on Pain to Purpose please contact them at  (828) 859-7003.
